Laguna Phuket Golf Club
 Banyan Tree Club is a resort style 18 hole golf course
located within the Laguna Phuket development. Situated on the exclusive Bang Tao Bay on
the western shore of Phuket Island, this par 71 layout stretches 6,850 yards from the
championship fees.
The front 9 holes of this Max Wexler designed golf course opened for play on 7 December
1991. The back 9 holes were opened in August 1992.
 Carved out of the existing sand hills, the front 9 holes, a par 36,
meanders through a once flourishing coconut plantation. Players must be exact on their lee
shots, as water comes into play on 5 out of the 9 holes.
The back 9 features water on 8 out of the 9 holes.Playing to a par 35, golfers will enjoy the
challenge of the back-to-back par 5 finishing holes, and the three par 3’s. The 11th
hole, although only 138 yards, will have a lasting impression.
Also available at Banyan Tree Club are practice facilities such as pitching green, driving
range and a 2,500 square metre putting green. A teaching professional is on staff to
assist golfers with instruction.
The excellent Clubhouse facilities include the Pro-Shop, Men’s and Ladies’
Locker Rooms and Three Tennis Courts.
